We know that our Gutter Press , (and how many of them are not in the Gutter we might ask) ; long ago crossed the border from honest reporters to avaricious , sewer crawling bully boys . And I think that it is to the eternal shame of us ; and particularly our so-called leaders that the present awful situation has been reached .

The cowardly treatment being handed out to the England football team is just the latest in a long history of such malevolence , over time Grieving Relatives, Prisoners of war and mny other innocents have born the lash of their mindless viciousness .

However it does seem that the present England Bashing has reached a new extreme , led as usual by Murdoch's Morons of the Sun , with all else including BBC/ITV grasping at the tainted coat tails .

What I find so Hypocritical is when they star the old "overpaid " cry , did not all this come about with the start of the Premiere League / Agents and the growing influence of Television , and would not Murdoch have been a driving force in all that .

I did not see the match , but I have seen enough since to know that the German Goalie is no sportsman and  the referee an idiot (or worse) .

 I wonder what the reaction would be if that had been an England Goal , the same I don't doubt just slightly reworded . In fact I would bet that all these garbage reports were written dayse before in the hope that England would fail.

As for myself I thank our team for their honest effort , something the gutter press have not heard of . Let's face it if all those favourite targets of these morons provide a sevice as bad as that of the Press , we would indeed be in a sorry state .

Let us remeber Maxwell a typical Journalist/Press Baron , they did not spot him or his thieving in thier Witch Hunts did they ?

I am sure that to really prosper this Country needs Leaders with the guts to make Press Media honest and accountable , and I do not think it difficult.
